Research

Methods: Quantum many-body systems, statistical many-body systems, and disordered systems have in common the huge configuration space accessible only by Monte-Carlo. Developing efficient methods for these systems is of my primary methodological interest.

Applications: Structural and electronic properties of organic and inorganic semiconductors in various forms from crystals to nanostructures for optoelectronics, sensing, and energy conversion/storage: computer-aided design and first-principle modeling.

Research prior to 2011 is summarized in ResearchHighlights.pdf.
